Training with CIA
There’s never been a better time to learn to fly. That’s because Cessna and Channel Islands Aviation has made becoming a pilot more accessible and fun, thanks to top-quality, highly qualified flight instructors, Computer Based Flight Instruction (CBI) training courses and new, well maintained and equipped Cessna aircraft.

The Cessna Pilot Center (CPC) program is the only integrated flight-training program in existence - flight and ground school lessons are designed by educational experts to work together for maximum retention. According to Cessna research, these higher retention rates and faster learning may lead to lower course completion times

You’ll learn at the best school. And you’ll fly the perfect airborne classroom - the Skyhawk SP is the foundation of the training fleets at some of the biggest university aviation programs in the world. Cessna Pilot Centers utilize new and well-maintained aircraft that match the Cessna Computer-Based instructional material.

Channel Islands Aviation has been providing expert flight training at the Camarillo Airport for 30 years. We offer courses from the Private Pilot’s License to the ATP or Airline Transport Pilot rating. Many of CIA Graduates are currently working for airlines such as Sky West, American Eagle, Continental, Air Canada, American Airlines, Air New Zealand, Delta Airlines and numerous corporate flight departments.

There is no better way or place to Learn to Fly! And, there is no time like the present to get started!
