Johnston Flying Services offers professional flight training in Houma, Louisiana. Staffed with a group of experienced flight instructors, we are well equipped to meet all of your fixed-wing and rotorcraft-helicopter flight training needs.

We are approved under FAR Part 141 for private, instrument, and commercial helicopter training, and our Part 141 courses are also approved for the training of U. S. veterans.

Professional Helicopter Course

Our professional helicopter course is designed to produce the best helicopter pilot at the least cost. The course provides training in airplanes and helicopters, including training in both Schweizer and Robinson helicopters, and in Cessna airplanes. We also offer aerobatic training. At the completion of the course you will have obtained a private airplane rating, instrument and commercial helicopter ratings, and helicopter flight instructor and instrument flight instructor ratings. And you'll save money.

With the increased demand for helicopter pilots in the civilian helicopter job market, the chances for finding a good paying job as a helicopter pilot are excellent.
