Founded in 1962, originally as Britannia, Thomson Airways has become the world´s largest charter airline offering scheduled and chartered flights from the UK and Ireland to destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia and North America.
The airline has a fleet of more than 70 aircraft and fly to 80 destinations around the world. The airline is a subsidiary of TUI Travel.
While Head office is based at Luton Airport in London, the airlines largest bases are London Gatwick, Manchester Airport and Birmingham Airport.
Last year, Thomson Airways carried 10.7 million passengers, second behind only easyJet and British Airways.
