Company IntroductionOperating as a Delta Connection regional carrier, ASA flies to smaller markets from Delta Air Lines hubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Salt Lake City. ASA is a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. ASA operates nearly 900 flights each day from its hubs in Atlanta, Salt Lake City and Cincinnati. The airline is also due to open up on LAX in December 2006. ASA flies a fleet of CRJ regional jets and ATR 72 turbo prop aircrafts. | |||||||||||
Flight Crew RequirementsAtlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) is hiring pilots with the following minimum requirements: Minimum Requirements: • 500 hours total time* • 50 hours multi-engine time • Recency of flight experience will be considered • Current FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate • Vision corrected to 20/20 • Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance • FCC radio license • ATP Written preferred • Successfully pass a drug screen analysis • Legally authorized to work in the United States and have a valid passport • Undergo a criminal history records check through an FBI based fingerprint system • Extensive background and reference check • College preferred, minimum high school diploma or GED • Minimum age 20 * The above listed times are minimums. Most applicants hired have more flight time. Reduced Minimums for a select few with Advanced Jet Training: • 400 hours total time • 50 hours multi-engine time Advanced Jet Training includes: • Level C/D Jet Simulator • Level 5/6 Jet FTD • FMS Training • Glass Cockpit • Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training • Accelerated Jet Ground School Licenses: • Commercial • Instrument • Multi-engine (not restricted to centerline thrust) CFI, CFII, MEI and ATP preferred Selected Universities and Flight Schools with variable hiring minimums: • Embry Riddle • Purdue University • University of North Dakota • Auburn University • Western Michigan University • Indiana State University • Falcon Air Service - Peachtree City, Georgia • ATP - Jacksonville, Florida • Delta Connection Academy - Sanford, Florida • CAPT - Palm Coast, Florida • Regional Airline Academy - Deland, Florida • Georgia Aviation Tech College - Eastman, Georgia • Aviation Atlanta - Atlanta, Georgia See ASA’s website for further details and dates for group Interviews. | |||||||||||
Cabin Crew Job RequirementsAtlantic Southeast Airlines is hiring flight attendants with the following minimum requirements: • Authorized to work for ASA in the United States • Able to travel freely among all ASA destinations, both domestic and international • At least 20 years old • Have valid passport prior to training • Able to read and speak English fluently • Pass FAA required drug screening and background check • Have high school diploma or GED • Willing to accept base assignments in either Atlanta or Salt Lake City • Physical ability to perform all duties. • Ability to work long hours, including a 14 hour day. • Able to tolerate a work environment that is subject to changing climactic conditions and locales, variable hours, and conditions that include but are not limited to dry air, moderate noise levels, dim lighting, confined spaces, and frequent and continuous contact with others | |||||||||||
Maintenance Job RequirementsRequired: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Airframe and PowerPlant Licenses. • Must have satisfactory performance and attendance in current position.
