In January 2007, BMI bought British Mediterranean Airways which has enabled it to serve a wider range of mid-haul destinations. As of July 2009 BMI is now fully owned by Lufthansa.

Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
100 hours PIC
Class 1 Medical
MCC credit or valid MCC exemption granted by CAA
The ability to work and reside in the EU

BMI is currently hiring flight attendants.

Minimum Requirements

18 years of age
Height between 5´2" and 6´2" in
Minimum 4 GCSE´s at grades A - C or the equivalent (NVQ level 2/grade 1 CSE only). Certificates must be presented at interview or before employment
British or European passport OR have the indefinite right to live and work in the UK
12 month´s experience in a customer-facing role
high standard of physical fitness and a visual acuity of 6/9 in each eye, aided or unaided
Able to swim a minimum of 25 meters unaided
A good standard of fluency in the English language, spoken and written

Crew Bases: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh & Belfast UK
