Cougar Helicopters is a helicopter company servicing offshore oil and gas fields off the coast of Newfoundland and Nova Scotia as well as in the Gulf of Mexico. Cougar has permanent facilities in St. John’s and Halifax.

Cougar Helicopters specialize in offshore IFR as well as SAR operations with a fleet of 8 helicopters.

Flight Crew Requirements

Cougar Helicopters is currently hiring pilots.

Minimum Qualifications
• Canadian Rotorcraft ATPL-H or alternatively a Canadian Rotorcraft Commercial licence with the HAMRA and HARON examination successfully completed
• Group IV Instrument rating
• Night rating
• Previous experience on SK92, SK61 or AS332 helicopters • At least 3000 hours Pilot in command on rotorcraft
• 1000 hours in medium/heavy rotorcraft category
• 250 hours instrument flight time
