Company IntroductionFlybe is a low cost regional airline based at Exeter International Airport, England. It is the largest independent regional airline in Europe operating over 150 routes to 55 airports. Flybe’s largest base is Southampton Airport and it has further bases across the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Flybe operates a fleet of BAe 146, Dash 8 Q400, Embraer 145 and Embraer E-195 aircraft. Fleet size is 79 aircraft as of May 2008. | |||||||||||
Flight Crew RequirementsFlybe is currently hiring pilots. Requirements - Captains (DE) • 2,500 hours total • 500 hours command experience* Requirements - First Officers • JAA CPL/IR/ME (fATPL) Unqualified Pilots Self-sponsor pilot schemes with the following schools: • Cabair • Flight Training Europe, Jerez, Spain • Oxford Aviation Training (OAT) • Atlantic Flight Training • Aeros Flight Training • Pilot Training College of Ireland *On a suitable type may be considered for Direct Entry Command. Broadly speaking, a suitable type is a public transport aircraft with a MTOM greater than 10 tonnes. | |||||||||||
Cabin Crew Job RequirementsFlybe is currently hiring cabin crew. Requirements • Minimum age - 18 • Height/Weight: 5’2" (157cm), max 6’2" (188 cm) • weight in proportion to height • visible tattoos. • Full valid EU passport/valid work permit or visa • In good physical health • Able to swim 25 metres unaided • Minimum of 3 GCSE’s grade C (or equivalent) • Minimum of 6 months face-to-face customer service experience • Must live within 60 minutes from base (home) airport • Full, valid drivers license | |||||||||||
