IndiGo is looking for pilots in the following categories:

Minimum Requirements

A320 Type Rated Captains (Indian National)

• 3,000 hours total time
• 300 hours PIC on A320 family / A330/ A340 Aircraft
• Maximum Age 62 years

A320 Type Rated Senior First Officers (Indian National)

• 2,000 hours total time
• 500 hours SIC on A320 family / A330 / A340 Aircraft
• Maximum Age 55 years

A320 Type Rated First Officers (Indian National)

• 700 hours total time
• 300 hours SIC on A320 family / A330 / A340 Aircraft
• Maximum Age 35 years

Junior Co-Pilots (Indian National)

• Indian DGCA issued CPL
• Indian Multi-Engine Instrument Rating
• A-320 Endorsement in the License
• A-320 Instrument Rating valid or lapsed by less than 1 year
• Valid COP/RTR and FRTO Licences
• Valid Indian Class I medical certificate
• Fluent in English

Non-Type Rated Transition Captains (Indian National with civil command experience)

• 3,000 hours total time
  
• 500 hrs PIC on commercial multi-engine jets -OR- 1,000 hrs on multi-engine Turboprops
• Maximum age 55 years

Non-Type Rated Senior First Officer (Indian National with civil experience)

• ATPL
  
• 2,500 hours total time
• 1,000 hours civil experience on Commercial Multi engine -OR- 1,500 hours civil experience on Commercial Multi Engine Turboprops.
• Maximum Age 50 years
• Glass cockpit experience will be preferred

Non-Type Rated Senior First Officer (Indian National with no civil experience)

• ATPL
• 2,500 hours total time
• 800 hours on transport category multi engine jet -OR- 1,300 hours on transport category multi engine turboprops -or- 2,000 hours on fighter jets
• Maximum age 50 years
• Glass cockpit experience will be preferred

A320 Type Rated Expat Pilots

• 5,000 hours total time
• 2,000 hours PIC multi engine
• 500 hours A320 time
• 1,000 hours glass cockpit
• English proficiency (ICAO level 4)
• Maximum age 63 years

Cadet Pilot

• Valid DGCA Class I medical
• Aged between 20-30
• Indian nationality
• 55% in each Physics, Maths & English (10+2)
• Height & Weight in proportion
• Fluent in English
