Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Colgan Air, Inc (A United Express, Continental Connection and US Airways Express carrier) is seeking an Aircraft Cleaner in Sterling, VA (IAD).

Job Summary:
The Aircraft Cleaner is directly responsible to the shift supervisor for assigned duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform the cleaning of the aircraft, interior and exterior, in accordance with the manufacturer´s manuals, Colgan Air General Maintenance Manual and FAA requirements. Work must be performed in the interest of safety of flight.
- Keep tools and support equipment in safe operational conditions at all times.
- Wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while on flight line, on hangar floor, or in the area of operating machinery or power tools.
- Responsible to keep assigned work areas clean and free of hazardous or unsafe conditions.
- Perform other duties assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Any combination of education and experience enabling one to perform job functions.
- Valid Driver´s License

Special Requirements:
- Must be able to work extra hours when necessary.
- Some travel may be necessary.
- Must possess valid drivers license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.
