Job Description:
- Provide Engineering support to Line and Base Maintenance personnel in the Engineering Support Center (ESC) in PIT.
- Support includes but is not limited to interpretation of manual limits, troubleshooting of chronic A/C conditions and evaluation of A/C damage for Continued Airworthiness via Engineering Authorizations.
- Primary functionality involves dispositioning non-conforming conditions on Fleet Aircraft, Systems, and Powerplants in a real-time environment.
- Secondary functionality involves developing Airline´s Typical Repairs and manual supplements to eliminate repetitive authorization requests.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with 3 years aviation experience or other technical degree
- 5 years Airline Liaison Engineering experience
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operational support area to maintain constant shift coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, constantly changing priorities, and to critically think and technical problem solve in a real time environment while under pressure and maintaining the highest regard for safety and airworthiness.
- Previous experience with Engineering Support of commercial aircrafts structures, systems, and propulsion (A319/320/321, A330, B737, B757, B767, E190, CF6, CFM56-3/-5B, PW4168A, RB211, Trent 772B, and V2500 engines)
- Extensive experience with OEM manual systems (IPC, AMM, SRM, CMM, etc.), OEM drawings, Service Bulletins, FARs, Major/Minor classification of repairs and Continued Airworthiness programs.
- Willingness to travel on short-notice to assist maintenance worldwide.
