Job Description

Reporting to the Director Antonov & Ilyushin Fleet, assisting in the maintenance and operational plan for AN-124 and IL-76 fleet as required for successful operations.

- Establish and maintain monitoring system of the aircraft safety equipment of the fleet providing adequate notice to facilitate arrangement of stock, replacements and overhauls.
- Establishing and monitoring a computerised, bilingual, detailed stock inventory & control system for aircraft parts, spares, equipment, rotables and consumables.
- Liaison with Manager Maximus Airlines and Quality Engineers as required ensuring the status and location of all aircraft parts and spares is documented and remain accountable.
- Raising appropriate paperwork and all arrangements for the efficient transportation of aircraft parts, spares, rotables and consumables
- Liaison with all internal & external departments and the authorities (including Customs, Police and Security) arranging all required clearances in respect of aircraft part movements to/from and within UAE.
- Quick response arrangements as above in respect of AOG situations.
- Issue weekly fleet status reports following appropriate consultation and liaison with concerned personnel.
- Generally coordinate and assist the Director Antonov & Ilyushin Fleet and Manager Maximus Airlines in matters relating to the organisation and administration of the fleet.
- Special projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

- University academic degree.
- Ability to read and speak Russian and English fluently (Arabic & Ukrainian language skills desirable).
- Advanced skills on MS Word and Excel.
- Aircraft operations or maintenance
- Aviation experience of at least 2 years
- Aviation based qualification
- Some knowledge of An-124 and IL-76.
- Experience as Engineer or organisational experience with Russian aircraft.
