Job Description

Directly responsible to the GCAA and Maximus Air Cargo for ensuring that all operations activities can be carried out in accordance with Civil Aviation regulations and approved operations manuals.

The job purpose is to assign crew for duties and leave in accordance with flight time limitation legality, aviation rules and regulations and company standard operating procedures and manuals.

Assign qualified and sufficient crewmembers to each flight, ground and standby duty. Notifies changes to flight details
Maintain a standby crew roster to cover available aircraft in accordance with the Maximus Standby Crew policy.

Manage the Leave Roster.

Where applicable, monitor all aircrew´s license, special endorsement or qualification, validity, training, and visa requirements.

Post flight details into Dispatch as soon as practicable following completion of the flights, to enable monitoring of crew hours flown.

Liaise with Accounts to ensure layover allowances and cash floats are available for all flights and standby duties
Liaise with ticketing to arrange positioning duty travel and accommodation for crews travelling on company service in a timely fashion and in accordance with laid down standards.

Arrange simulator sessions for recurrent and initial training.

Arabic language skills an advantage.

Qualifications

- Computer skills; Detail focus in planning and organising skills.
- Broad understanding of flight time limitation and legality.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- PC literacy.
- Minimum of two years experience in an aviation operations environment (Preferably Rostering).
