Job Description

Engineer - Antonov & Ilyushin Fleet position

Job Purpose
To plan and liaise in respect of execution of the maintenance of Antonov & Ilyushin aircraft to ensure the airworthiness and availability of those aircraft for the flying programme.

Create and maintain a maintenance plan for AN-124 and IL-76 fleet covering all the aspects required for its successful operation.

Report to the Manager Antonov & Ilyushin Fleet details of the specific maintenance and service requirements, to ensure that there is minimum interruption to the operation of the aircraft.

Liaison with maintenance providers and engineers arranging and monitoring scheduled & non-scheduled maintenance, including obtaining quotations and liaison in respect of defect rectification by engineers and maintenance providers.

Sourcing quality aircraft parts, arranging quotations, securing supplies of parts and repairs including liaison with consumables and part suppliers and repair organisations.

Keep current with Service Bulletin status and developments in the operation and service of Antonov & Ilyushin fleet.

Liaise with Quality Control Engineers to ensure all works are documented and all documentation maintained.

Qualifications

Minimum
- BSC in Engineering.
- Ability to read and speak Russian fluently.
- Advanced skills on MS Word and Excel.
- Some knowledge of specific aircraft - the AN-124 and IL-76.
- 2 years as an Engineer.

Desirable
- License on Russian aircraft.
- Arabic language skills
- English language skills.
- Extensive experience of specific Russian/Ukrainian aircraft.
- 3 years or more as an airline Engineer.
