Job Description

Line Maintenance Engineer

- Supervise ADAT engineers and technicians and ensure that the Daily/Transit and preflight checks are preformed in accordance with MM and GCAA regulations.
- Follow up on deferred defects rectification.
- Coordinate with the MRO during the A-checks and C-checks
- Monitor own licenses and authorizations to ensure they are valid at all times.
- Keep up-to-date with modifications status of the aircraft he is authorized on, technical notices, quality directives and MME and PPM
- Carry out research and enquiries with technical records and engineering, computer system and read all relevant documents, instructions and manuals thus keeping current of all technical, procedural and regulatory developments.
- Perform maintenance controller duties when required to do so. Monitor the serviceability of the aircraft at base and outstations. Act as a one point contact for management, LAE´s, planning/development section and operations section for all matters relating to the serviceability of the aircraft.

Qualifications

- ICAO type II License, which can be converted to a UAE GCAA License.
- Dual category license on two aircrafts types.
- Computer Literate.
- Knowledge of GCAA regulations.
- 5 years experience as an approved LAE
