Job Description: Maintenance Controller
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Duty Manager

Job Summary:
Maintenance Controller with section of the GMM as applies to Maintenance Control Duties. Have responsibility to ensure that mechanical irregularities occurring during flight operations are handled in a safe and expeditious manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with dispatch, parts department, and maintenance personnel for any parts and/or manpower that may be required.
- Monitor and coordinate line maintenance activity.
- Report mechanical irregularities encountered during flight operations to the Director of Quality Control or the Manager of Technical Services.
- Maintain and control deferred discrepancies.
- Keep system control notified of current MEL status.
- Other Duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, or any combination of education and experience enabling one to perform job functions.
- Must possess and maintain current FAA Airman Certificate, with both A&P ratings.
- SAAB 340 or Bombardier Q400 experience preferred.

Special Requirements:
Must be able to work extra hours when necessary. Some travel may be necessary. Must possess valid drivers license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.
