Manager ACMI Sales
- Meet or exceed agreed ACMI sales targets.
Have a clear understanding of the factors that lead to success in the ACMI business.
- Develop and manage excellent Customer Relationships at a mid- level and senior-management level at airlines, integrators and forwarders.
- Diversify Maximus Business portfolio by identifying and developing new customer opportunities by having an excellent ACMI market awareness.
- Be able to understand, build and manipulate ACMI contracts.
- Provide short-term and long-term ACMI quotations based on relevant inputs, especially from Operations (especially maintenance).
- Assist the VP commercial to coordinate the collective effort of commercial, operational and service delivery teams to achieve Business Unit goals.
- Assist the CFO to coordinate the collective effort to always having a very competitive pricing structure.
- During contract negotiations and quote preparation, coordinate activities with the CFO and COO (for Engineering, Flight Operations and Ground Operations) to ensure Maximus is able to execute as contractually agreed.
- Contribute to the Maximus budget through effectively forecasting and delivering ACMI sales targets.
- Ensure the ACMI fleet maximizes utilisation without dead time between ACMI leases (at least very little).
- Provide insights and market knowledge to support growth plan of the Maximus ACMI fleet.
- Provide continuously feedback to Business Development and Strategy to keep updated the competitor and market analysis.
Manage/coach/develop and provide direction for the ACMI Sales team.
- Coordinate aircraft insurance in conjunction with the CFO.
- Manage and deploy the Maximus Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool in an ACMI environment.
- Completion of relevant department budget
- Complete relevant performance appraisals for team
- Management studies
- Aviation courses and sound sales experience in ACMI
- Commercial skills, networking, analytical skills
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Awareness of aircraft capabilities and operating costs
- Comprehensive knowledge of cargo, aircraft knowledge and specifications
- 10 years in sales
