Job Description

Qatar Executive is the business jet charter operation of Qatar Airways operating a young fleet of Bombardier Challenger 605 and Global aircraft from our base in Doha, Qatar.

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable person to ensure the aircraft operated by Qatar Executive (QE) are in compliance with all required airworthiness regulations from both an engineering and maintenance planning perspective. The primary function of this role is to ensure high levels of aircraft availability and reliability to support QE operations through best engineering practices, effective and proactive aircraft scheduling, and optimisation of the aircraft maintenance programs.

Qualifications

Key accountabilities include:
Managing a team of specialists in the Engineering and Scheduling Department; acting as a lead specialist to provide guidance on technical matters; acting as a focal point for all procedures and system improvements across al fleets; ensuring comprehensive evaluations are carried out for all technical documentation; developing and maintaining effective Aircraft Maintenance Programs to ensure high levels of aircraft availability and reliability.
To be successful in this role you´ll need a minimum of ten years aviation technical experience with a minimum of three years at a supervisory or management level. You´ll ideally be a licenced aircraft engineer with at least 5 years experience on corporate or high performance aircraft. You should also have excellent knowledge of aircraft systems, power plants and structures as well as an analytical approach, excellent communication skills and strong project management ability.
