Materials Line Station Coordinator Position Description
- Manages inventory at assigned locations to support business and operational requirements. Ensures stock levels are maintained at the relevant Line Station and airports in the designated area, ordering when needed to maintain the predetermined stocking levels and ensuring items are properly packaged for issuance. Ensures all inventory has the proper applicable trace documentation and/or Maintenance Releases. Ensures all aircraft parts shipped to designated Line Station that are unused on an aircraft are accounted for and are processed for return to the Vendor in the Materials System of Record.
- Assists in the processing of core components in Materials System of Record and dispositions as directed by the Materials Component Repair Group. Investigates and resolves lost core issues relevant to the assigned Line Station. Files claims for damage or lost shipments as necessary.
- Ensures that the Line Station inventory space is a safe and secure environment. Assists Warranty Department with invoicing issues as necessary. Assists in supporting Commissary Lockers within the designated region. Performs projects as assigned.
- Ensures all site inventory transactions are performed and completed accurately in the Materials System of Record.
- Ensures that all items shipped from the assigned Line Station are in manner that is efficient and cost effective.
- Performs cycle counts and physical inventory audits as necessary. Performs monthly audits on shelf life and inspection controlled items to ensure they are within their appropriate time requirements. Ensure physical inventories are accomplished as directed.
- Maintain a copy of documents received with items/components in a record system that allows for ease of access to the documents.

Qualifications

- Aviation experience and intimate knowledge of Inventory Control Processes and Systems
- Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements
- Must successfully obtain and maintain Hazardous Material certification
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Familiarity with Cessna, Dassault, Raytheon, Gulfstream aircraft
- Cost accounting experience
