Job Description

Strom Aviation is currently seeking a PT-6A mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Mesa, AZ.

The PT6A Mechanic is responsible for performing hands-on work for the PT6A helicopter engine product line within the limits of the repair station for that product. Maintenance must be performed in accordance with current FAA regulations, the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual, FAA Approved Data, work order instructions, and manufacturer´s standard practices. The Mechanic is responsible for: maintaining shop equipment and tools, maintaining the premises in a clean and orderly manner, obtaining and maintaining shop metrics, initiating purchase requisitions for stock as required and proper tagging and identification of all units or parts.

Qualifications

Requirements:
- High school diploma (or grad equivalent) with 5+ years experience with PT6 A/T model engine repair (an emphasis on A) required.
- Ability to multi-task and organize and prioritize
- Strong communication skills
- Personal toolbox required
- Ability to work overtime hours on short notice to meet product requirements
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at once
