Job Description

Quality Engineer

- Ensure continued compliance with GCAA regulations and Maximus procedures, to ensure the continued validity of Maximus AOC, by performing internal audits and external audits of approved third party service providers, in accordance with the annual audit plan
- Generate and follow-up on Non-conformance corrective / preventative actions issued against internal and external audits using the QPulse Quality Management software
- Assist the Manager Quality in developing audit checklists for various internal and external audits
- Submit and review third party supplier evaluation checklists and provide recommendations to the Manager Quality for approvals / rejection of new suppliers
- Assist the Manager Quality in developing and implementing quality management system using the QPulse software system
- Maintain the Quality Department records retention system as required by GCAA regulations
- Perform scheduled reviews of internal Company documents, publications and procedures to ensure continued validity. Will also be responsible for the document control system in the absence of the Technical Publications Administrator
- Assist the Director Quality as required to successfully complete assigned projects / tasks within assigned time frames
- Construction and amendments of relevant manuals
- Captain reports

Qualifications

- ICAO Type II Engine/Airframe Avionics Licence.
- Aviation Quality Management
- Quality Assurance Training i.e. Air Law, Audit Trng. ISO-9001, Airworthness, EASA Modules etc.
- Interpersonal skills detail conscious.
- Computer literate and MS office.
- Operations & Engineering experience
