Purpose of Position:
- Supervises, in an executive capacity, the maintenance or alteration of aircraft. Ensures that all necessary documents pertaining to the release of an aircraft from a scheduled or unscheduled maintenance visit are reviewed and meets the NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual.
- Reviews, edits, realigns and saves the Aircraft Status Report in the NetJets Maintenance Tracking System prior to the aircraft´s release from a scheduled or unscheduled maintenance visit.

Scope of Position:
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- This position is an individual contributor and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Major Duties/Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• 32% Ensures compliance with all NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual requirements for aircraft undergoing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance visits.
  
• 20% Ensures compliance with applicable Company policies/procedures as outlined in the NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual, NJA Fleet Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP´s) and Continuous Inspection Program (CIP) for scheduled or unscheduled Maintenance.
  
• 20% Ensures proper documentation is received and reviewed for scheduled or unscheduled maintenance performed by Maintenance Providers on fleet aircraft, and that all documentation meets NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual requirements.
  
• 10% Ensures that maintenance documentation is accurately entered into the Maintenance Tracking system to include discrepancies, and part transactions.
  
• 5% Ensures that all time tracked components and scheduled inspection items are reviewed, edited and are tracking properly in the Maintenance Tracking System prior to aircraft release from a scheduled or unscheduled maintenance visit.
  
• 5% If requested, will travel to NetJets designated Maintenance Providers´ Facilities to observe maintenance on Company aircraft, act as a liaison to the RTS Department, and ensure maintenance documentation is complete and correct before it is sent to the Return to Service Department.
  
• 5% Maintains a professional relationship and open lines of communication with the NetJets contracted Consultants and OEM Representatives.
  
• 3% Maintains a relationship with the Maintenance Providers to obtain work records and corrections to work records as needed.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Education: High School Graduate
  
• Course of Study/Major: General
  
• Type of Credentials/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic Certificate
  
• Work Experience: 6-8 years aviation maintenance experience.
  
• 2 yrs Maintenance controller experience or aircraft technical management or as a QC inspector.
  
• 4 yrs Aircraft technician experience in line maintenance and heavy maintenance.

• Education: Associate´s Degree
  
• Course of Study/Major: Aviation Maintenance or related technical field
  
• Type of Credentials/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic Certificate
  
• Work Experience: 8-10 years navigation maintenance experience
  
• 3 yrs Maintenance controller experience or aircraft technical management or as a QC inspector.
  
• 5 yrs Aircraft technician experience in line maintenance and heavy maintenance.
