Job Description

The Stress Engineer will perform stress analysis of aircraft interior, system, and structural installations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes stress analysis documents to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements, budget, and project schedules
- Creates preliminary and backup analysis documentation as required
- Utilizes classical analysis methods; NASTRAN modeling experience and FEMAP
- Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements
- 5+ years of Aircraft Stress Engineering experience
- Bachelor´s degree (B.S.) in engineering or equivalent
- Must have free body diagram experience
- Extensive experience with hand calculations
- NASTRAN modeling and FEMAP experience
- Aircraft Interior industry experience preferred
- Must be a US Citizen

Position will be a 3 month contract with possiblity of extension based on performance.
