Job Description

The Experimental Engineering department (BAEX) is responsible to plan, execute and provide test results in support to ground testing requirements for all new and In-Service Aircraft Programs. As a System Test Integrator, your role will be to:
- Interact with multiple GX7000/GX8000 WP Integrators, System Suppliers and DAD´s to collect System Test Strategy and System Test Requirements.
- Coordinate between System Integration, System and Structural Suppliers and BAEX functions all related activities needed for System Test rig definition, design, build and test.
- Lead multi-functional System ground test review meetings.
Interface with BA System Suppliers, BA System Integration and BAEX Design groups to define System rig design specifications.
- Review and approve system testing deliverables from Program Suppliers with inputs from Test Engineering team.
- Harmonize schedules between Suppliers and internal BA functions.
- Prepare presentations and provide status report of overall activities, schedules, issues and roadblocks to GX7000/GX8000 Project teams and upper management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate meets these requirements:
- As a successful candidate, you hold an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized institution along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aircraft system testing (Flight Controls-Fly by Wire, Avionics & Electrical).
- Knowledge and experience with Host Computer System (HCS), data acquisition and aero loading is an asset.
- Strong communication skills in both English (written, spoken) and French (spoken) are required.
- A thorough working knowledge of integrated aircraft system testing and the ability to liaise with a wide variety of people within and outside the company is also required.
- You are a strong team player; you demonstrate superior organizational and leadership skills and you are driven by results.
- A key aspect of the job requirement will be the ability to work without supervision, and occasionally at off-site international locations.
- The candidate must be having a valid and current passport at all times.
