Based in Christchurch, it currently operates low-fare air services within New Zealand, between New Zealand and Australia, to the Pacific Islands, and Asia. Flight Crew / Pilot JobsPacific Blue is currently accepting resumes from pilots. Positions are for Virgin Blue on Domestic routes, and Pacific Blue. Minimum Requirements Virgin Blue • Hold a current Australian passport or a current overseas passport with an unrestricted right to work in Australia • Hold an Australian ATPL or Australian CPL with examination passes for all Australian ATPL Academic requirements • Hold a valid ICAO Command Multi-Engine Instrument Rating • Hold a current ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate • have a minimum of 1000 Total Flying hours, including at least 500 hours on a Multi Engine Aircraft If you are successful in being offered a position of Flight Crew at Virgin Blue, prior to commencement you must fulfil pre-requisite requirements which include: • Ability to hold an Australian Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) • Level 6 English Language Proficiency rating on Australian issued licence • Command type rating on assigned Virgin Blue operated aircraft • Hold an Australian Class 1 Medical Certificate • Hold or have previously held an Australian Command Multi-Engine Instrument Rating | |||||||||||
