Porter Airlines is a regional airline based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It operates regularly-scheduled flights from Toronto City Centre Airport to destinations in Canada and the United States.

As of August 2010, Porter Airlines operates a fleet consisting of Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 turboprop aircraft.

Minimum Requirements

Captains

• Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence
• Instrument Rating
• 5,000 hours total time
• 500 hours PIC on Dash-8 or 1,500 Hours PIC Heavy Turboprop (in excess of 30,000 lbs MGTOW)
• Category I Medical

First Officers

• Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence
• Instrument Rating
• 3,000 hours total time
• 500 Hours multi engine PIC
• Category I Medical
• Aviation College or University Degree is an asset

Pilots that do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered based on experience and other factors.

Positions are based in Toronto.

Porter Airlines is currently hiring flight attendants.

Minimum Requirements

• Fluent in English plus one other language (French preferred)
• Completion of secondary school (Travel school preferred)
• 2 years previous experience working with the public in a customer service role
• At least 19 years of age
• Right to live and work in Canada and travel without restriction
• Live within 1 hour of assigned base
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays

Minimum Requirements

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer´s (AME) license issued by Transport Canada
• Secondary school education
• College diploma in aircraft maintenance from Transport Canada approved facility
• Right to live and work in Canada
