Minimum Requirement

Direct Entry Dash 8 Captain

Australian or New Zealand ATPL
Current Dash 8 endorsement
5,000 hours total time
1,000 hours PIC on aircraft >13,000kg
English Language ICAO Level 6
Multi Engine Instrument Rating
NDB, VOR, ILS, LLZ & DGA Endorsement
Basic GPS Qualification
CASA or CAANZ Class 1 Medical
High School Certificate with Maths & English
Australian or New Zealand passport
Australian Permament Residency or New Zealand Citizen

Crew Bases: Sydney, Melbourne, Mildura, Brisbane and Cairns.

Direct Entry First Officer

Australian or New Zealand Commercial Pilot Licence with ATPL Theory
Multi Engine Instrument Rating valid for at least 3 months upon commencement of employment
700 hours total flying time
250 hours Command or Co-Pilot of multi-engined, fixed wing aircraft (excluding ICUS).
Turbine experience is desirable but not compulsory
Hold or have held endorsements for NDB, VOR, ILS, LLZ and DGA on an
Hold a Basic GPS Qualification
CASA or CAANZ Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
Australian Permanent Residency or New Zealand Citizen (documentation required).
A current Australian or New Zealand passport with access to all Qantas ports
Higher School Certificate or equivalent

Crew Bases: Sydney, Melbourne, Mildura, Brisbane and Cairns.

Aged at least 18 years old
Height between 158 - 183cm
Australian permanent residency
Passport with 12 months validity allowing unrestricted travel
Current Senior First Aid Certificate with 6 months validity
Strong commitment to customer service and recent experience in a face-to-face role
Excellent level of health and fitness
Experience in Food and Beverage service is an advantage
