Flight Attendant JobsVirgin America is currently hiring flight attendants. Minimum Requirements • Must be at least 21 years old • Authorized to work in the United States • Willing to travel extensively • Willing to be based out of San Francisco and fly out of SFO on short notice • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours • Possess and maintain a valid United States passport or foreign passport • Have the right to travel freely in & out of the US • Have the right to travel to & from all cities served by Virgin America Airlines without restriction • Demonstrate dependability • Physically fit in order to pass applicable training programs including being able to open aircraft doors, lift emergency window exits (approx. 30 lbs), assist with carry-on luggage stowage, push meal & beverage carts (up to 150 lbs.) • Body size cannot exceed specific aircraft dimensions of emergency exits etc • Ability to perform safety related procedures • Able to reach emergency equipment from overhead compartments • Must successfully pass a background check and a drug screen • High school diploma or GED required • College degree desirable | |||||||||||

Minimum Requirements • 5 years air carrier commercial aircraft maintenance experience • 2 years of A320 Family aircraft hands on experience • Ability to lift 85 lbs • Ability to clearly write, read, & speak the English language • Ability to squat, bend & climb regularly • Ability to work off of stands & lift trucks • Ability to read wire diagrams & disseminate various levels of work instruction related to Line Maintenance & Aircraft Modification • Skilled in A320/A319 systems and troubleshooting • Able and willing to work any shift to include nights, weekends and holidays • Sheetmetal & Avionics skills are a plus • Be able to qualify for a airport security badge • Be legal to work in the United States • Posses a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate • Valid drivers license • FAA drug test required • Posses High School Diploma • Posses Airframe and Powerplant Certificate | |||||||||||
