Company IntroductionVirgin Atlantic Airways Ltd. (operating as Virgin Atlantic) is a British airline which operates long-haul routes between the United Kingdom and North America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Virgin Atlantic’s main bases are at London Heathrow and London Gatwick. Virgin has a smaller base at Manchester Airport. Virgin Atlantic currently operate Boeing 747 and Airbus A340 aircraft. It has also ordered six Airbus A380 aircraft, due to be delivered from 2013. | |||||||||||
Flight Crew RequirementsVirgin Atlantic is not currently hiring pilots. Not likely to hire until 2009. Minimum Requirements • At least 2500 - 3000 hours total time • Minimum of 1500 hours commercial jet time (BAe 146 or above) • UK issue JAA ATPL • MCC qualified • Right of abode in the EU | |||||||||||
