Bel-Air Intl provides flight training for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot (Single and Multi-Engine), Flight Instructor Ratings and Airline Transport Pilot Licenses. As an FAA approved flight school, students can be trained under Part-141 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s). This allows each student to take advantage of a structured syllabus and complete their training more efficiently in terms of both time and cost.

U.S. residents and citizens who are here full time and who put their maximum effort into their training can literally launch an airline career as a pilot in a little as 18 months.

International students who put their maximum effort into the commercial program can have their commercial pilot training completed in as little as 6 to 7 months. An FAA commercial license is recognized worldwide and is easy to convert once a student returns to their home country.

Our location in the San Francisco Bay Area provides excellent flying conditions throughout the year. You will enjoy fantastic flying scenery and remarkable flying conditions. San Carlos Airport is located beneath the San Francisco International Airport airspace. This combination gives you experience near Class B airspace without the delays often found when departing larger airports. The numerous airports located within the area provide you with the opportunity to fly many different instrument approach procedures during the same lesson. We are the largest flight-school in the area. We operate a variety of single and multi-engine aircraft as well as a FAA-Approved Simulator. Classes are in session 7-days a week.

If you are a U.S. resident or citizen, after completion of your flight-instructor certificate, Bel-Air Intl. can further enhance your career with our time-building program. If you participate in the program, you can build 80-100 flight hours each month while working for Bel-Air Intl. as a flight instructor. You will be paid for your flying at a competitive rate and build valuable flight time towards that corporate or airline career.

We can also offer the opportunity to foreign students upon receiving their commercial pilot license to enroll into our certified flight instructor program. Students who excel through this program may be offered the opportunity to stay here and exercise their privileges as a flight instructor with us. These students will be receiving practical training or “time building” towards their Air Transport Pilot License. These students can build up to 100 hours of flight time per month as a flight instructor.

For students who are interested in receiving a four-year university degree, we have good news! Bel-Air International works with several universities that will credit up to 37 units towards a bachelor’s or masters degree to students who have received all their pilot certification. A 4 year degree requires 120 units, so that is enough credit to shorten a 4 year program down to 2 & ½ years!
