Academy of Aviation Excellence

The Academy of Aviation Excellence is a project of the Star Air Aviation (Private) Limited established in July 2011 under approval from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) for providing basic aircraft technology based courses for new-comers and professionals alike. Since is start, AAE has been conducted various training programs at its facilities such as Basic Airframe Training, Basic gas turbine, Flight Operations Officers Training, Instructional Techniques and Aviation Legislation etc.

OBJECTIVES: The Academy of Aviation Excellence has been established to provide quality aviation training to young students and professionals alike, to enhance their capabilities. The AAE has the following objectives: To provide recognized and certified quality education and learning opportunities for the youth in order to help them achieve employment in the aviation sector, nationally and internationally. To promote continued professional development among aviation professionals.

To provide opportunities of On-The-Job training to individuals and aviation professionals seeking enhancement of their career, to provide opportunities of learning in the various areas of aviation such as aviation security and safety, air traffic control, management of aircraft accidents, aviation laws, cargo and flight operations.

To establish high standards of education and training in order to maintain corporate satisfaction among the business community for the academy graduates. To develop and effectively deliver educational and training programs for participants including professional technical courses, short courses, seminar, workshops and conferences.

LOCATION & CAMPUS: The Academy of Aviation Excellence is a center of excellence for aviation related courses and trainings. Students at the academy include professionals and youngsters who wish to pursue a vibrant career in the field of aviation. The AAE is situated at the General Aviation Area, Karachi Airport in a purpose built campus. The facilities at AAE include a library, canteen and internet-usage facility. The area is complete secure and safe and is easily approachable from the Star Gate entrance towards to old airport terminal.

APPROVAL: The Academy of Aviation Excellence (AAE) is approved by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) vide certificate approval # CAA/AW/350, dated July 28th 2011. All courses being conducted at the academy and the instructors delivering the courses are also individually. All approved copies and course outlines are available with the staff at the academy.
