This school is an example of what a pilot mill looks like. I did not have a good experience at this school. I did some training towards my CFI certificate here. Some of the instructors are okay. Generally speaking, this is the type of school that teaches students to have their heads down in checklists and doesn’t teach great airmanship. Most of the instructors don’t have any real experience outside the flight training environment. And the chief pilots are mostly former Air Force pilots who treat flying a C172 like you’re in a jet. The schedule is just ridiculous. It’s impossible to fly often enough to actually retain anything. Expect to wait weeks between flights, and expect to wait months to get a 141 stage check scheduled. The school and instructors are happy to take on more and more students though, because after all this is a pilot mill. The focus is on making money. Olaf
