Classic Airways in Gallatin, TN, is located at Sumner Regional airport just a few miles north of Nashville and conveniently located especially for folks who live in Hendersonville, Portland, Westmoreland, and of course Gallatin. Flight instruction is available for those who are studying to get their pilot's license or for those who just need a refresher course. We offer Recreational, Private, Instrument, and Commercial training. We have 4 qualified instructors on staff ready to meet your needs as well as classroom facilities and a flight training device for preflight preparations. Our FBO is fully stocked with all the necessary training materials as well as charts and FAA documents needed for cross-country planning. Aircraft rental is $100 for the Cessna 172M and flight instructors are $40 per hour.
