Colorado Heli Ops is one of the premier high altitude flight training schools for Helicopter Pilots in the USA. We have experienced Flight Instructors dedicated to teaching you the skills to safely and competently Pilot a helicopter. Our unique operating environment give pilots exposure to a variety of climatic conditions, from the expansive plains to the mountains of the Rockies. Colorado Heli-Ops is the first Helicopter Flight Training Center in the US to have a full curriculum Scenario Based Training Program, and was awarded Rotor & Wing Magazine’s Editors Choice Award for flight training.

We fly pipeline inspections, wire corridor inspections, wild life counts and more, and in most operations our pilots in training get valuable flight time in Turbine Aircraft with very high time CFIs for FREE !!Our students also learn how to develop and present data and video to the companies we work with, and get hands on experience operating some of the newest, state of the art, equipment in the business.
