While earning a pilot’s license may seem difficult, Falwell Aviation Flight School has a 98% completion rate and has been teaching flying for more than 55 years. Our graduates have gone on to serve as captains of 747’s, express courier pilots, military pilots and missionary pilots – aviators at the top of their respective fields.

With three locations at Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH-controlled) Falwell Aviation (W24-non-controlled), and our newest location at Roanoke Regional Airport, our flight school draws future pilots from all over the state due to the high quality of our training and the diversity of airplanes we own. We continuously expand our fleet, adding two to three brand new 172’s (G1000 equipped) each year.

We have also added a Schweizer 300CBi for rotorcraft ratings.

Falwell Aviation Flight School is approved by Cessna as a Pilot Center and offers training on all Cessna models.
