If you’re interested in getting started, perhaps an introductory flight is the best way. Giving an introductory flight lesson as a gift to a loved one, or to yourself, is the way many of us have started our aviation careers. Click Introductory Flight Lessons for additional information.

Recognized as one of the finest training facilities and academies in the United States, Galvin trains every student with a level of professionalism that is unmatched.

Galvin is proud to be recognized by the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI) as having the highest number of NAFI Master Certified Flight Instructors of any flight training organization in the United States.

The modern state of the art training fleet and simulators assures students train with today’s most advanced equipment. In addition, an independent, FAA approved Computer Assisted Testing Service (CATS) is located on the Galvin campus.

For the person seeking a professional flying career Galvin offers a highly structured and cost efficient training environment under FAR Part 141 regulations that qualifies and prepares you to sit in a job interview with experience and confidence.

For the person wishing to fly privately for recreational, personal or business reasons, Galvin offers the same professional approach, but in a personal, non intimidating and rewarding environment that meets FAR Part 61 regulations.

Occasionally, people express concern about the weather in Seattle. It’s true that weather can be a challenge here. But, ask yourself this: would you rather fly under IFR with a pilot who’s trained in the desert sun, or somebody who’s trained where there’s actual IMC, mountains, oceans and a variety of weather conditions unmatched anywhere else? We know what real-world flight training is all about.
