Helicopter flight school in Eastern Europe

Transylvania Live Rent-Helicopters strongly believes in Quality Flight Training. Not only will CAA standards be met and exceeded, but the student will have the opportunity to learn more about the advanced skills required by the operators today around the world.

There is a theory course which is 1500 euro+ 19% TVA. You can learn from home and for any clarification we can fix meetings in Bucharest with the proper instructor.

Then you can practice 330 euro/hour +TVA x 45 hours on Robinson 22, a 2 seats helicopter.
I would recommend you to stay 3-4 weeks in Bucharest for this; depends how fast you will learn; you can stay a week go back home and then come for another 1-2 weeks till you complete the school.


The examination is made by CAA Romania – cost about 100 euro + 2 hour flight x 330 euro/hour

In order to obtain the PPL, license for private pilot you need also a radio communications course of about 200 euro.

Location
The closest area when we can provide you with flight school is Bucharest. There is a good motel near by the Fly school, and we can provide with a room there for a small extra fee.
