Huffman Aviation LLC of Burleson, Texas is a medium sized flight school with quality far surpassing that of any large school you can think of.

Jake Huffman, the owner and chief pilot has over 20,000 hours of flight time including more than 16,000 in light aircraft. He began teaching military crew members in 1974 and has been teaching on the civilian side since 1986. Flying and teaching flying are his passions.

Huffman Aviation LLC owns and operates several two seat single engine training aircraft, several four seat cross country (and training) airplanes, a complex, a high performance, and one twin Cessna, and has access to several tailwheel aircraft for those seeking tailwheel endorsements. With an in house maintenance staff of two full time A&Ps plus a part time weekend guy, the aircraft are given continuous tender loving care. Students remark regularly about what good shape the airplanes are in compared to other places they have flown.

Our staff of instructors is available whenever you are to provide the highest quality training at the most reasonable price anywhere around. We are FAA Part 141 and VA approved in addition to our traditional Part 61 training programs. We use a syllabus for everything we do...but not rigidly. We are flexible enough to meet the training needs and time requirements of any person seeking the best in aviation.
