Kansas State University

Kansas State University Pilot Students receive an educational experience unlike any other. At KSU we have more Master Certified Flight Instructors than any other collegiate program in the country. No driving is needed to get from the classroom to K-State´s ramp. Training takes place on a 12,300-foot runway that also has crosswind and parallel runways.
K-State at Salina takes pride in being one of the few university flight training programs to offer rotary wing flight training in our new Schweizer 300 CBi helicopter. Whether you are interested in a few flights, helicopter transition training, or all of your flight certificates in a helicopter, our experienced flight instruction staff has the ability to train according to your needs. Our instruction staff consists of several highly experienced military and civilian rotary wing pilots, including pilots who actively fly rotorcraft in industry.
Affordable Flight and Tuition Costs K-State is a state university, which keeps our prices reasonable. The university´s degrees allow students to use federal loans to assist with costs.
