Southern Skies Aviation is a professional flight training centre located in the southern interior of British Columbia. Flight training is conducted in Cessna 172's, Cessna 205, Citabria GCBC, Piper Aztec and the Elite simulator.

Southern Skies Aviation Ltd. is a progressive company with a single objective – The Pursuit of Excellence. The Private Career Training Institution Agency (PCTIA) recognized the standards of excellence upheld by Southern Skies Aviation Ltd. and granted accreditation status in September 2006.

Southern Skies has attracted a cadre of instructors that is experienced, multi-lingual ethically motivated and sincere in their pursuit of excellence. Their purpose is to instruct the inherent aviation disciplines and to instill the essence of operational and professional excellence. We draw on instructor experiences gained with the Canadian and Belgian Armed Forces, Cathay Pacific Airways and thousands of hours of mountain flights.

Our philosophies reflect the high standards we demand from everyone associated with Southern Skies Aviation Ltd. and include advanced methodologies and systems to conduct aircraft operations and to teach student pilots.

Southern Skies holds the distinction of being authorized to conduct the Integrated Commercial Course and is currently the only flight school doing so in western Canada. This authority enables Southern Skies Aviation to train and provide abinitio student pilots with a commercial pilots license in 10 months whilst saving them a significant amount of money over the costs of traditional flight training.
