In this role the Aircraft Delivery & Resale Manager ensures aircraft meet specifications prior to purchase and resale, ensures aircraft are outfitted to high quality standards, ensures documentation is complete, and ensures equipment and personnel are coordinated efficiently, in order to guarantee aircraft are delivered and placed into service in accordance to the schedule and are resold, according to business needs and company objectives. The Aircraft Delivery & Resale Manager oversees continuous improvement initiatives for initial product quality, contract and schedule compliance, and safety as it relates to all personnel involved in the inspection and flight test of new aircraft. The Aircraft Delivery & Resale Manager is expected to build supportive and motivating relationships with assigned OEM's and vendors and within the NetJets organization as a whole.

20%: Monitor and coordinate, in liaison with the Director of Aircraft Delivery & Resale, the entry into service of new and used aircraft, lease aircraft, managed aircraft and loaner aircraft from aircraft manufacturers, sales organizations, aircraft owners, lease organizations and NetJets operating divisions by acting as he on-site expert for all matters related to the assigned OEM product delivery and resale process, including the proactive incorporation of all information regarding improvements, contract compliance issues and liabilities.

20%: Responsible for ensuring compliance of company aircraft equipment specifications between NetJets and aircraft manufacturers / vendors to ensure that the product is delivered according with NetJets standards. This includes performing on-site surveillance of aircraft production (green) inspections, deliveries, certification requirements and the initial product quality check of aircraft purchased, leased, managed or loaned, prior to aircraft acceptance and entry into service, to ensure that all aircraft introduced into the company comply with NetJets standards and legal requirements.

20%: Manages product inspections including; interior, paint, mechanical quality, flight test, contractual and document compliance for delivery and resale aircraft. This also includes assisting with preparation of aircraft delivery and resale requirements, monitoring all technical requirements, sales agent representatives, inspections, records review, pre-purchase inspections, and ensures proper assistance for National Aviation Authority (FAA / EASA, etc.) acceptance inspections for aircraft entry / exit & import / export etc.

20%: Helps resolve issues with OEM and vendors to ensure timely compliance with schedules for delivery or resale of aircraft. Monitors the control of costs of aircraft resale during the sales process of exiting (inspection, rectification, certification, equipment and regulatory compliance costs and legal fees).

20%: Manages the technical preparation of aircraft delivery and disposal requirements, to include trade-in aircraft General Visual Inspections (GVI), all historical records and compliance requirements, inspections, records review, pre-purchase inspections, NAA requirements for export, issuance of work order tally sheets, etc. and also provides management of the aircraft checklist, department procedures, delivery / resale data files, maintenance tracking and inspections including; interior, paint, mechanical quality, flight test, contractual and document compliance for delivery and resale of aircraft.


Education: High School Graduate or Vocational Training
Course of Study/Major: Aircraft Maintenance
Types of Credentials/Licenses: FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
Related Work Experience: 6-8 years
