The role of the Controller ensures all NetJets aircraft are maintained away from home base in compliance with all regulatory requirements for NetJets aircraft. 

Contacts and arranges for maintenance personnel to clear aircraft discrepancies and return aircraft to service in a timely and effective manner. Supervises, in an executive capacity, the maintenance and/or alteration of NetJets aircraft. Is appointed and empowered by the aircraft certificate holdersĀ“ Director of Maintenance (DOM) to conduct designated functions of the DOM office. 

Is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Company policies as outlined in the NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual, NJS 14 CFR 145 Repair Station Procedures Manual, and the Policies and Procedures Manual for NetJets aircraft maintenance. Reports to the Maintenance Air Boss (MCC) for day-to-day operations, the Senior Controller for daily tasks, and the Fleet Manager for fleet.30%: Ensures that all aircraft that are down for maintenance are repaired in a timely manner. 

Ensures that all departments affected by a grounded aircraft are aware of the status of that aircraft. 10%: Ensures each Aircraft Daily Status Report, MEL, and inspection due list is reviewed for due items. Works harmoniously with the Director of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, MCC Managers, Pilots, Maintenance Vendors, and all others associated with each aircraft certification. 

Ensures the Maintenance Air Boss (MCC) and the Manager, Fleet Maintenance (MCC) are notified of unusual circumstances. Keeps close liaison and works harmoniously with the SOC to keep them advised of aircraft maintenance status. 

Is responsible for ensuring proper documentation of the work performed on NetJets aircraft prior to approval of the aircraft for return to service. 

If requested, will travel to NetJets designated maintenance stations to observe maintenance on Company aircraft, act as a liaison to Aircraft Maintenance, and ensure maintenance documentation is complete and correct before it is sent to NetJets. Ensures required aircraft parts for grounded aircraft are obtained and shipped in a timely manner.  Authorizes transportation to be arranged for maintenance personnel for aircraft grounded cross-country. 

Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate
Course of Study/Major: General
Type of Credentials/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic Certificate
Work Experience: 4-6 years

Additional Requirements:
* An understanding of turbine powered aircraft systems.
* Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
* Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
* Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Course of Study/Major: Aviation Maintenance or related field
