The candidate must maintain a superior working knowledge and technical competence of NetJets' equipment and operations specifications to provide a primary source of historical aircraft maintenance information and guidance for the Company's officials and maintenance personnel. Maintains a high degree of proficiency and exercises good judgment in performance within scope of responsibility. Operates with minimal supervision.

55%: Is responsible for accurate documentation and preservation of aircraft, engine, and auxiliary power unit (APU) historical maintenance data on appropriate forms for compliance of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual and Company Policies.

15%: Must be proficient in the comprehension of 14 CFR; FAA Regulations, Orders, Notices, Advisory Circulars, and other government agencies documents.

10%: Reviews weight and balance reports and related records for accuracy.

5%: Research's historical documents to determine status of Airworthiness Directives, life limited parts or time controlled items to make logbook entries, or research during aircraft delivery or sales.

5%: Must be proficient in the ability to read, interpret and apply knowledge related to use of procedures, forms, manuals, instructions, work orders and design data.

5%: Verifies Airframe, Powerplant, APU or component data for accuracy and content against computerized tracking systems.

5%: Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Education Level: High School Graduate (Bachelor's Degree desirable)
Course of Study/Major: Aeronautical Field desirable
Type of Credentials/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
Related Work Experience: 4-6 years (6-8 years desirable)

4 or more years performing aircraft heavy or line maintenance or lead Mechanic.
2 or more years managing, researching maintenance related records.
Is familiar with aircraft regulatory agencies policies and procedures.
Is able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Is able to organize and prioritize work.
Is able to work nights, various shifts, and holidays.
2 or more years in the capacity as a QC inspector, Maintenance Control desirable.
2 or more years full time researching aircraft and related historical records for aircraft sales or delivery inspections desirable.
2 or more years in a aircraft maintenance management position desirable.
