The Flight School, aircraft and runway are located within 100 feet of one another and the airport is situated within an uncongested training area. For instrument training there are five different types of instrument approaches withina ten mile radius of the school.

The atmosphere is one of a club and the Flight School also rents aircraft to qualified pilots for business and recreational flying, subject to some restrictions. Instructors are hired based on their ability to teach and all are experienced flight instructors.

Quality instruction which made me feel comfortable to pursue a life long dream. JLS was about the journey in safety not the money. Never pressured and the instructors showed they´re passion whether they were my CFI or not. I achieved my private while working and typical family life. I just followed the path they laid out and did the work. Next is instrument training at JLS with my same instructor. Environment is everything! Paul
