Aeroclub di Varese
Venegono Inferiore, Italy
Aero Club Varese was established in 1948 when flying was reserved only to people with a strong sense of machism and adventure, somehow different from nowdays way of flying. It gradually increased its fleet and efforts and by 1960 an important transition was tried: from an aero club for private pilots to a flying school geared to train and prepare professional pilots in order to meet the increased market demand of the commercial aviation industry.
In the past two decades ACV has trained, and continues to train not only VFR pilots, but also those pilots looking for employment with airlines in Italy.
In order to have a response to the training needs of commercial pilots ACV has also invested largely in ground equipment and now has available one FTD flight simulator equipped with a visual sistem.
