About

Aviation Academics is a flight Training Organization specialized in theoretical education as part of the pilot training for airplane and helicopter. In co-operation with a practical FTO we train candidates, without any experience, who dream of a career as a commercial pilot as well as experienced private pilots who wish to develop their talents further into a professional career and Quality Teaching is our standard as this is our very first objective.

Theory: A solid theoretical basis determines the structure of all further thinking and sets the foundation for all practical applications. It breeds self-confidence, analytical power and a quick insight, essential in unusual circumstances.

Due to the official exam system being based on multiple choice questioning, some candidates miss depth and it is because of this that more and more airline companies are now including a theoretical exam as part of the interview process.

Professional Team Our teachers have years of experience in the aviation industry. Our team consists of 21 lecturers and guest lecturers, all aviation specialists and/or line pilots with more than 50 000 flying hours on their record.

Own course material: We support our students with our own course material and follow up. All course books are in English and are unique in Belgium as they are continually kept up to date. Tests and school exams are conducted through the Internet. Both candidates for integrated and modular training can call on us. Modular courses through distance learning are also on offer.

Day and weekend training: The professional organization of Aviation Academics provides the student with the opportunity to get to grips with the theory of the line pilots license during 12 months of weekend training. For the Instrument Rated pilot, the course will take 9 months to complete. Private pilots wishing to obtain the instrument rating can complete the training within 7 months.

Aviation Academics offers the Commercial Airline Pilot course as an integrated full time course over the course of 9 months. Theory and practice can be completed within 24 to 30 months.
