Blue Sky Aviation provides training and instruction for a Helicopter Private Pilot Licence PP(H) and for a Helicopter Commercial Pilot Licence CPL(H), as well as turbine conversions and type ratings.

No formal qualifications are required to train as a helicopter pilot and contrary to popular belief, no previous flying experience is required before learning to fly helicopters.

We are situated in the coastal town of George (South Africa) which is part of the Garden Route, well known as an area of exceptional beauty. Just imagine doing your training or flying along the beauty of the Garden Route coastline or experiencing the dramatic mountains and views of the Klein Karoo.

The George airspace is uncluttered, which gives you more time to concentrate on flying and less time worrying about congested airspace.
