With over 5000 hours gyroplane experience we are the leading UK gyroplane flight training centre. Flight examiner and ground exam examiner on staff, 1250 metre hard runway, 1000 metre grass, ten minutes flight time from the lake district where we conduct advanced mountain flying and confined space landings and take offs. Residential courses 3 to 4 hours training per day, conversion courses also available.

£120 per flying hour so you could have your gyroplane licence for less than £5000.

Use the school gyroplane for the solo flying part of the course (a small deposit will be required). Full time instruction takes place seven days a week throughout the year so book your flying lessons when it suits you rather than just having to fit it in at the weekends. Courses start when your are ready and can take time off work or as and when money allows. If you have no flying experience then no problem but you will need 40 hours of training and a pass in five ground school subjects all of which we can do here at Kirkbride.
