Since 2004, the IAT, which anchors Craven Community College - Havelock campus, has offered comprehensive, state-of-the-art training in aircraft maintenance training that is essential to prepare workers for employment at Fleet Readiness Center East at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point or with private or commercial aviation firms.
Students enrolled in Craven Aviation Systems Technology program get hands-on training with a wide variety of military and civilian aircraft. They become familiar with a complete array of aircraft systems, from nose to tail.
