AN IDEAL GIFT for young and old, for pilot and non-pilot. Experience the world of fixed wing, microlight flying It’s fun, it’s easy and it’s affordable. Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a qualified pilot, you’ll find the world of microlight flying a unique and stimulating experience.
Fly from a grass strip near Canterbury, Kent If you’ve never flown before you can enjoy the views of beautiful East Kent. With a little tuition you can take control of the two-seater microlight, either the Cyclone AX3 or the Ikarus C42. The sublime microlight is the Pegasus Cyclone AX3. A basic, "seat of the pants", microlight [no heater] with a two stroke Rotax 503 engine producing a cruise of 45kts. It will give you a very good introduction to the low inertia world of microlights. Or try the NEW IKARUS C42 - A TOP OF THE RANGE 4 stroke MICROLIGHT. It looks like a light aircraft; flies as fast as a light aircraft EXCEPT it has the low inertia and fun of a microlight.
If you are into a more comfortable, [easier to get into] and whizzy aircraft, this could be the one for you. If microlighting is for you, then training for the Private Pilots Licence is the next challenge. Perhaps you have a PPL(A) and are wondering about converting to microlights? Why not try ..from the Sublime to the Ikarus? The AX3 is one extreme with lots of rudder use and the Ikarus is the light aircraft equivalent microlight.
