Kachemak Bay Flying Service

Kachemak Bay Flying Service (KBFS) is a full service aviation company that provides airplane and helicopter flight training under our Part141 Flight School Certificate. We will also train pilots under Part 61 if desired.  We conduct air charters and air tours under our Part 135 Certificate and helicopter external loads under our Part 133 Certificate.

Currently we use Cessna 172s and Cessna 177 as our primary fixed wing trainers and a Robinson R44 for helicopter training. All of these aircraft are well maintained using our in house Part 145 Repair Station.

Airplane and Helicopter Private Pilot

Airplane and Helicopter Commercial Pilot

Airplane Instrument Course

Private & Commercial Pilot IFR/VFR Courses

Private & Commercial Additional Aircraft Category Courses

Special Operations Course (Helicopter patrolling/survey in UH-1)

All of the above courses may be conducted under Part 61 Additionally, we offer Airplane and Helicopter CFI courses under Part 61
